Thirty years ago today, the Wabash Cannonball Trail was created from 64 miles of former railroad corridor property. Then the Northwestern Ohio Rails-to-Trails Association (NORTA) needed only 2 days to clean up 2.5 miles on the South Fork in order to declare that section of trail open for business! Commemorate the anniversary by visiting the Wabash Cannonball website and taking a ride on the trail this spring!
