Secor Metropark invites families to celebrate the natural world after dark at the Nature at Night Fest, a free, all-ages event exploring the creatures and rhythms of the night. Attendees can take part in a range of hands-on activities, including a tree climbing station, a silent disco dance party, and a rock climbing wall. New this year, Metroparks and Maumee Valley Adventurers are partnering to present the GLOW Bike Ride, a 2.8-mile guided evening ride through the park with candy stops along the route. Participants of all ages are welcome, and riders are encouraged to decorate their bikes and dress in bike-safe Halloween costumes. The festival takes place at the Secor Center.

Schedule:

• 6:30 PM — Festival begins, GLOW bike registration opens
• 7:00 PM — Sunset
• 7:30 PM — Registration closes, last rider leaves (park goes DARK)
• 8:30 PM — Bike ride and candy stations close
• 9:30 PM — Festival ends

What to bring: A decorated bike, a helmet (required for all riders), and a filled reusable water bottle. Bikes must have a white front light and red rear light. Minors must be accompanied by an adult for the entire ride. The event runs rain, snow, or moon — so dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear.
