Bike Streets

Bike Streets is a free, community-built Low-Stress Bike Map that helps you find calm, comfortable routes so you can ride your bike almost anywhere with less traffic stress. Riders share their favorite routes and connect them into a citywide map, available through bikestreets.com or the Bike Streets app (iOS and Android). It's more than a map, too: riding with Bike Streets adds your voice to a collective push for cities to invest in better bike infrastructure. Toledo already has its own Low-Stress Bike Map on the platform.

The City of Sylvania, TOPS, SAJRD, TMACOG, & WAT are presenting two bike events in June:

Family Bike Day (Sat. 6/20, 9:30am)

Meet at Centennial Terrace to take a morning ride around Sylvania on trails and lanes. Choose from 3 different routes depending on your ability. Cool off afterward with free swim passes to Olander Park and Centennial Quarry.

Sylvania Cycling Classic (Sun. 6/21, 8am to 6pm)

The 5th annual bike race is for semi-pro and pro men and women riders. Watch from Burnham Park where the picnic, swimming, and playground facilities are all open. See races throughout the day with pros at 3p and 4p. More info at www.sylvaniacyclingclassic.com.
