Spring Is Almost Here!

Spring is just around the corner, and for cyclists, that means it's time to dust off your bikes and hit the road! After a long and cold winter, spring is a welcome change, and it's the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. If you are looking for a path to ride, check out the Toledo Metroparks website for a list of biking trails in the Northwest Ohio area.

The Forward Toledo Committee is asking for your input regarding the future development plans for the city of Toledo! This survey is an opportunity to make positive change in Toledo's bike/pedestrian infrastructure. To voice your opinion, go to the City of Toledo's website and take the survey.

Ride the Lights

Metroparks Toledo is opening its Ride the Lights night trail every Friday and Saturday from 7pm-10pm in Oak Openings Park through the entire month of October.  The trail uses green and white LED rope lighting to guide you across the Mountain Bike Skills Course. Tombstone Tour 2022

Maumee Valley Adventurers and Metroparks Toledo is holding its 44th annual Tombstone Bicycle Tour on October 15th. This tour has ride options of 5, 10, 15, or 25 miles through Oak Openings and the surrounding Whitehouse/Swanton area. This year take advantage of the games, prizes, and new Family Haunted Ride. Glow Roll 419 Benefiting Read For Literacy 2022

Wersell's Bike Shop is holding a Glow Roll night ride Oct. 1st to benefit the Read For Literacy group. This 12-mile Glow Roll is not a race, but a family fun event. The ride will have marked routes and rest stops along the way to ensure everyone participating has an enjoyable experience as the community comes together to support the Read For Literacy cause.
