Get ready to ride—registration for the 2025 MVA Bike Tours opens soon! This year’s lineup includes scenic rides like the Portage River Tour (June 22), Metroparks Tour (July 19), Irish Hills Tour (Sept. 14), and the Family Haunted Bike Ride (Oct. 11). Plus, exciting overnight bikepacking trip, weekly Saturday rides and Thursday walks are also happening. Check the Club Calendar on the MVA website for all the details!

Swan Creek Greenway

The City of Toledo has been awarded $1.1 million through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Reconnecting Communities Pilot Program to support the Swan Creek Greenway project. This initiative will reconnect the Junction neighborhood with downtown Toledo through a multi-use trail, providing safer access to jobs, green spaces, and resources for residents.

The project, developed in collaboration with the Junction Coalition, focuses on community-driven planning and nature-based solutions like flood mitigation. It’s a vital step in addressing decades of disinvestment and building a more connected, resilient city.

Family Haunted Bike Ride

MVA and Metroparks Toledo are hosting a family bike ride through the beautiful trails of Secor Metropark on Saturday, October 12th! This Halloween-themed event includes a 2.8-mile bike ride, candy stops, kids activities, costume contest, and more. Pre-register by Friday for just $3 or join the fun Saturday for $5. Bring your helmet and wear a bike-safe costume!
