Ride through the varied terrain of northwest Ohio and southeastern Michigan for the 47th annual Irish Hills Tour. The tour will take place on September 22 and start out at Centennial Terrace in Sylvania. There are distances ranging from 10 to 100 miles, so this will be a great ride for novices and experienced bikers alike! Take a spin at FitPark Ride, a new mountain bike skills course at the Oak Openings Beach Ridge Area, this Sunday 9/15 at 2 p.m. The course features 21 obstacles including: Roller Coaster, Teeter-Totter and Snake Ladder! This new course will help cyclists prepare for the types of challenges they might encounter on the nearby Beach Ridge Singletrack and other mountain bike trails.

2nd Annual Mary Lou Davis Glow Roll
This glow roll will be an enjoyable 10 mile slow bike ride through beautiful Ottawa Hills, Hasty Hills and the Westgate area, to raise awareness in the community about all gynecological cancers. There will be awards for best helmet, bike and team theme for children and adults. Registration starts at 6PM. Check out the Ovarian Cancer Connections event page for more information!
Ridin' Late in County 48
Bring your friends and family for a slow roll ride through Toledo Memorial Park, scenic Sylvania Neighborhoods, and Olander Park, all under the stars! Then join us for a casual affair with food trucks, craft beer and live music. The ride starts at 8:30PM from Spoke Life Cycles (6363 Monroe St). Metroparks Bike Tour

This event has been cancelled due to extreme heat!
Take the opportunity to ride through up to four scenic Toledo Metroparks on Saturday, July 20th! This ride has four different distance options at 15 miles, 31 miles, 62 miles, and 100 miles. The tour will begin at Community of Christ Lutheran Church and registration is open from 7 AM to 10 AM. Check out the Maumee Valley Adventurers website for more information!
University/Parks Trail Extension

Officials opened the 0.6-mile paved addition between King and Silica roads on Thursday morning. This extension lengthens the route, which begins at the University of Toledo, to about 7 miles. For more information and future extension plans, check out The Blade's article.
